Run a Project Wrap-up to sustain your kaupapa
Most teams move straight from one project to the next 🫠
So one of my favourite parts of social impact mahi is the wrap-up hui, when we make time to pause and learn together. It's often the moment when teams finally get to see how awesome they are.
We're all so hectic, making sure our people and planet have a better future.
But running that fast without pausing to look back can quickly run you, your team, and your kaupapa into the ground.
Instead, try using these 5 questions to run a 1-hour reflection session:
1. What did we think success might look like?
2. What early changes are we seeing?
3. What have been the best moments so far?
4. What tensions or challenges have we navigated together?
5. What have we learnt, and what could we try moving forward?
Making time to learn and celebrate will help keep the kaupapa strong.
